Collards Journal
Description

A journal dedicated just to collards!

This first issue, re-launch of Crop Stories is part of a bigger mission to inspire people about the depth, stories and importance of our food, diving deep into a singular crop. Our hope is for more farmers to grow more varieties of collards, and for more consumers to seek out and enjoy eating the diversity stewarded by The Heirloom Collard Project.

We’ve tried to honor and echo collard biodiversity with the editorial variety in this journal. Stories from farmers, seed people, chefs, artists, poets and more, fill us up with stories of how much collards mean to people, especially Black people in the South.
